"Every child is an artist, the problem is how to remain one after growing up." -- Picasso
| Art for All offers classes for children aimed at all levels of a child's artistic development. Our classes provide private, individual instruction through very small classes. We encourage children to think creatively and experiment with techniques in all art forms. We engage children in art by introducing them to artists throughout history. Our unique courses offered are as follows; Cave Paintings to Picasso; Art of Africa; Pop Art; Abstract Expressionists; Impressionism; The Renaissance; and Surrealism to name a few.Our goal is to promote original thinking, problem-solving and self-expression. Classes will utilize a variety of media, including pencil, charcoal, pastels, acrylic paints, collage, print making, mobile making, and sculpture. We will host classes outdoors, using nature as our subject matter. Towards the end of each semester the students are invited to join us for a museum tour to preview the artwork studied in class. Children will conduct a critique of their work during our last session. | ![]() |

All classes will be taught by professional artist Elizabeth Moore Arnold, who will share a lifetime of experience as an artist in all media. She has a Bachelors in Fine Arts coupled with Art Education at the Museum of Fine Arts, Glassell School of Art. Elizabeth established Art for All in 2006, and expanded to Chapelwood Methodist Church in 2009. She will be combining her love of children and her passion for arts at Art for All. Unless parents request otherwise, each class will begin with a brief prayer session. |
